LeAnn Haddock, M.D. established her obstetric and gynecologic practice in August 2003. She was born and raised in Seguin, Texas. She attended Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth for undergraduate training then UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas for her medical degree. She completed an internship in Family Practice in Anderson, SC after which she attended Baylor University Medical Center for OB/GYN residency. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Medical interests include obstetrics including high-risk pregnancies, family planning, minimally invasive gynecological surgery, and primary care issues. She prefers to look at overall body and mind health to ensure proper care of her patients.
She currently resides in Dallas with her husband Tom who is a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician at Medical City in Dallas, TX . The Haddocks have two children: Laney and Thompson who attend Parish Episcopal School. Her outside interests include photography, traveling, yoga/exercise, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
Erin Newman, M.D. joined Magnolia in the Fall of 2012. She was raised in the Dallas area and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas in 2012. Prior to residency, Dr. Newman completed her undergraduate education at the University of Texas at Austin, graduating with honors in 2004. She then obtained her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 2008. She is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Her medical interests include general obstetrics and gynecological surgery, high-risk pregnancies, basic infertility, family planning, gynecologic surgery, and gynecologic disorders. She is proficient at minimally invasive surgery and offers in-office procedures.
Dr. Newman lives in Dallas with her husband, Josh, and their two children, Harrison and Lillian. Outside of the office, she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
Kamilia Smith, M.D., a Dallas native, co-founded Magnolia OB/GYN at Baylor University Medical Center in 2007. After graduating from Texas A& M, Dr. Smith served the women of Texas by working in Washington, D.C. on healthcare policies and then moved on to do so at the state level in Austin. Following graduation from medical school, she moved home to her roots and to her calling: providing healthcare to the women of Dallas. At this time, she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center in 2007. She is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Smith considers motherhood as one of her highest callings and incorporates the joy she has experienced as a mother directly into the care she provides for each of her patients.
She resides in the Lakewood area with her husband Ryan, a pediatric anesthesiologist. They are fortunate to have three healthy children that enrich their lives. It is her desire and privilege to give back to the community and serve women and their families.
Lauren Wells, M.D. started private practice in obstetrics and gynecology in 2013 and recently joined Magnolia OB/GYN in the Spring of 2017. She was born and raised in Canton, Michigan and graduated with honors from Michigan State University with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Dr. Wells completed her medical training at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center in 2013, where she was selected as chief resident in her final year. Dr. Wells is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Medical interests include healthy pregnancy and postpartum recovery, high-risk obstetrics, family planning, office gynecology, and menopause management. Dr. Wells is trained and experienced in performing minimally-invasive gynecologic procedures, including laparoscopic, robotic, and vaginal approaches to treat benign gynecologic conditions.
Lauren lives in Dallas with her husband, Alex. They enjoy spending time with family and friends, including their niece and nephew, Caroline and Hudson. Other interests include traveling, skiing, calligraphy, and enjoying the outdoors.
